One of these days I might give this a try. Whether or not it'll run on this heap is iffy, but nothing ventured, nothing gained.

To some, this tournament represents a simple pleasure in life- something they take part in to blow off their week of hard work. To others, this tournament represents something more. For some, [F|H] provided them with lessons in time of uncertainty and support during times of weakness. The time and effort invested by the Map/Mod development Team will continue to help make a difference in the hearts and minds of those who belong to this community.
Thank you, and may the fruition of our efforts continue.

There's a sort of "sandbox" map made for the new Americana mod that consists of probably most of the tanks in FH, FHT and FHSW. Without having a single plane or seacraft on that map and missing most of the support vehicles, there was up to 150+ unique vehicles, vast majority being tanks. American, German, Russian, Japanese, British, French, and Polish tanks. There were Shermans (Firefly included), T34's, Cromwells, Panthers, King Tigers, Jagdpanthers, Ha-Go's, Panzer 2/3/4's (several versions of the latter two), K-2's, IS2s, Pershings and SuperPershings, Polish "tankettes", "rocket willys", tanks with flamethrowers, just to name a few. I'll have to post a screenshot sometime for those who aren't in the Americana campaign.

Thanks Vazkora!
If anyone is interested in Soviet vs Finns or Soviet vs German arctic maps go to WWW.Finnwars.com (http://www.Finnwars.com) . Weaponry is amazing equal to FH . Early Polikarpov biplanes Gloster Gladiators etc. Maxim machine guns and realistic scenery with underground bunkers etc. Rain ,snow and trains that work on realistic schedules make it much more realistic. They are developing a whole new game seriesd using the battlefield 2 engine. Two servers play these throughout the day . For what its worth

Oh no, when I say Americana mod, I mean it's just an add-on (expansion if you will) for the existing FH mod designed for the Forgotten Honor tournament that just started. It combines some of the content of another, rather major, expansion to the mod called Forgotten Hope: Secret Weapons, made by a Japanese team. Basically, it fuses parts of FHSW with FHT (Forgotten Hope Tournament mod, unofficially called version 0.8) as well as the existing FH 0.7 mod itself. Altogether more than 6GB of content, which is almost 2GB larger than BF1942, both of it's expansion packs, Desert Combat, DC Final, and Pirates combined which is what I have in there right now.
If you really want to experience this mod, you should consider joining us in this tournament. You really don't need much background with tournaments or this mod, as long as you can provide teamwork and follow orders. Hell, I never did a tourny before I started back in the previous tourny and I'm not even that great in FH, but I found the tourny to be extremely fun and got a hell of a lot better in FH.
You do need a slight bit of dedication but it's not too bad. Basically, there's 2 practices in a week, one for Europe on Wednesday, and one for Americana on Friday, you only need to attend one if you want to have a good chance of being allowed to play on Saturdays battle. Then there's a battle every Saturday that lasts for six hours, and you can join in just about any time and for however many rounds you want. Though, like I said, you should attend at least one of those practices if you want to gain some priority in being allowed into the battle since there's sometimes up to 50 players on your side alone playing, and you can only have 32 per team (since 64 is the hard coded limitation for all BF games).
Anyways, I've been prattling on enough, check out the website, read up on it a bit, and do consider it: http://www.forgottenhonor.com/index.php
Oh, and I'm on the Axis side (9th Armee) with Confed, part of the 58. Panzerfüsilier Abteilung company.
