Was playing on Sunday night, when my video starting glitching. Didn't pay it any mind, but after a few minutes the screen went a sick green and then it crapped out on me. Monitor is receiving no signal and the rest of the computer sounds like it is ok, no weird smoke or smells. So my guess is that my 2+ year old video card is done for. I did overclock it in the past for weeks on end. Just wanted to know your input on the situation.

Sounds that way to me. You might want to toss in another just to make sure it's not something with the agp port, but it certainly sounds like the card.

Update on the situation
Went out and bought a cheap video card, to see if that was the problem and it worked. So I go to change the card and remove the drivers for the old card. When i reboot, the computer wont recognize the new card, I twiddle with the machine for a bit and finally when I think I have it. My damn Windows wont boot up, it keeps rebooting at the end of the start screen. At this point I'm thinking something is up with the MBR or the registry, so I try fixing Windows with the disk and nothing. I finally reinstall Windows and everything boots up fine and I dont lose my stored data, but I do have to reinstall all the drivers for my hardware. As I am drooling over finally getting to play BF again after almost a week, my damn internet wont work. It seems like I forgot to install the drivers for my NIC, so in goes the floopy and what does it say..... Can not read disk, please formatt the disk. So i go over to my buddy's house and dl the driver onto the disk. I finally installed the damn thing and it worked fine, so hopefully I will be all set for tonite.
Lesson for the day.
When building a new system, buy everything new. Don't try and save money by using old parts.

Vor, why would the program paths be different?

Because he reinstalled Windows, the registry will be wiped clean. Any app that used an install routine that wrote to the registry, or uses the registry itself, will be fubared.

Next time use Sysprep with the re-install. It'll save your program info (comes with windows).

Soooooo possibly TLB '03 could be down this talented player for tonights little events? A great pilot too boot? That would be just awful for '04!!! However, I do feel for you Vor and wouldn't wish for you to miss out on tonight. Although I'm sure I won't miss you tonight if you show up and start owning us. 03 won't admit it publically, but I just had an unnamed 03 player confide in me privatley that they are starting to worry, and dissention is rising in the ranks...........................
